The Oregon 75CJ is a full skip square ground chainsaw chain built for maximum cutting speed and high-production professional use. Square ground chain is widely regarded as the highest performing chain available, delivering approximately 15–20% faster cutting than standard full chisel chain while maintaining excellent stay-sharp performance. It works especially well on longer guide bars where fast chip clearance and high chain speed matter most.

Its full skip sequence reduces drag by using fewer cutters, helping the saw stay in a stronger power range while improving chip carrying capacity in large timber. The trade-off is sharpening—square ground chain requires a very different technique using specialist files and accurate angle control.
